Jane was a Mitre 10 Cup player for Wellington and a Super Rugby player for the Wellington Hurricanes. He formerly represented Hawke’s Bay and was a member of the New Zealand side that won the Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens gold medal in 2006. Jane represented New Zealand Mori in 2006. She is of Ngti Kahungunu origin.
