Les Dennis was born in Liverpool, England on October 12, 1953. British comedian who became famous as a host of the television show Family Fortunes for fifteen years.
He starred in the hit play Certified Male in 2007 and he was a contestant in the second series of the UK Celebrity Big Brother series. Dennis starred in the film Intimate Relations with Julie Walters.
He worked at a clothing store before performing stand-up comedy in working for men’s clubs. His first radio appearance was on Stuart’s BBC Radio Merseyside series Variety Time in 1971 and three short years later he won “New Faces”, an ITV talent show.
