Hasham on the popular Australian series Blue Heelers, Sacks also notably played Mario Condello on Underbelly and Derek Channing on Wentworth. Between 1997 and 2001, he won five consecutive Logie Awards for his work on Blue Heelers. Blue Heelers fans loved the long-unrequited love that existed between Sacks’ character and actress Lisa McCune‘s Constable Maggie Doyle character. He began his acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in episodes of The Love Boat and The Restless Years.
