Sam Mills was born in New Jersey on June 3, 1959. Linebacker who played in the NFL from 1986 to 1997, mostly for the New Orleans Saints. He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro. He was coached by Jim Mora in both the NFL and USFL. He played college football at Montclair State University, and had a stint in the USFL before he joined the NFL.
